Washington Post blogger Greg Sargent pumped up a new Democrat ad tying Republicans to the Koch brothers, portraying the effort as substantive and more than an an attempt to simply “tar Republicans.” In many ways, the Dem ad “strategy is born of necessity,” Sargent wrote.
The tactic might be “born of necessity,” but according to the fact checker at that same paper, the Washington Post, there is nothing truthful about it:
4 Pinocchios "@GlennKesslerWP: Democrats claim Koch Bros. want to protect supposed tax break to ship jobs overseas" http://t.co/pPibnUj2tl

Call it “WaPo vs. WaPo.”

Ha! The WaPo is truly an “all-in-one” paper.
Sargent commented on his paper’s fact check on the anti-Koch ad he peddled as a Dem necessity:
Very tough takedown MT @GlennKesslerWP Dems claim Koch Bros want to protect tax break to ship jobs overseas. 4 Ps http://t.co/3dh58G7ka3

Er, yeah it was.
Now how about a little focus on the people Harry Reid likes to pretend don’t exist?
@ThePlumLineGS @GlennKesslerWP The obsession with the Koch bros is hysterical. Get over it. I got 2 words for ya…"Soros" and "Buffett".

@ByronYork @brithume Hypocritical? Not only a bad spin but doesn't this pale in comparison to the Democrats backing from Mr. Soros…
