'Total mess': Penn. Turnpike closed after nasty pile-up [pic]

A portion of the Pennsylvania Turnpike was closed today after an ugly accident this morning:

That part of the Turnpike is expected to be opened again shortly.

Fortunately there were no fatalities, though there were numerous injuries:
