CNN’s Piers “Musket” Morgan puts all other business aside when there comes another opportunity to push a gun control agenda. Such was the case after today’s shooting at Arapahoe High School in Colorado which, according to the latest reports, has left three students injured and the shooter dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Before all the details were even known, Morgan had hopped up on his gun control soap box:
Why is anyone surprised by more school shootings in America? Absolutely nothing has been done to prevent them since Sandy Hook.
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) December 13, 2013
Colorado is, of course, where they've spent the last few months throwing out politicians who had the audacity to advocate gun control.
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) December 13, 2013
Gun nuts out in force on here again tonight. Angry, belligerent, threatening – the very people, ironically, who should never have guns.
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) December 13, 2013
Because only Piers Morgan should decide who gets to have guns.
Musket continued:
80+ Americans shot dead every day, when's the right time? > RT @HollysHere @piersmorgan Too soon (at least today) for gun control rhetoric.
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) December 13, 2013
The 1st priority of any country should be to protect its children. America's refusal to do anything about guns since Newtown is shameful.
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) December 13, 2013
As usual, the only suggestion put forward by the gun lobby to counter school shootings is…MORE GUNS! Ker-ching. @NRA #Colorado
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) December 13, 2013
No, I'm not 'anti-American' re guns. The opposite in fact.. I want more Americans to stay alive. #Guns #Madness

As we reported earlier, the NRA sent a tweet promoting its online store shortly after the shooting was reported, and Morgan jumped on it:
Look at the @NRA 's last tweet – posted AFTER news of the Colorado school shooting broke. These people have no shame, no decency.
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) December 13, 2013
Within minutes of the Colorado school shooting, the @NRA posted this link > pic.twitter.com/3s5fP3LRq5 ….DISGUSTING.
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) December 13, 2013
I urge all decent Americans to tweet @NRA now and demand they remove that repulsive tweet. Stop them cashing in on school shootings.

According to the Arapahoe County Sheriff, a shotgun was used in the Arapahoe High School shootings. Maybe before Morgan lectures everybody else he should first have a chat with a high level member of the Obama administration.
