Baby steps.
The Daily Mail reported that two sources at Health & Human Services leaked to them the number of Obamacare applicants through the federal exchange in the first week (you know it’s bad when information has to be “leaked” about a “signature achievement”):

Something to keep in mind about the numbers of applications:
So Obamacare has 51k "applicants"? How many have actually sent in a check?

When it’s time to pay up, whether it’s the premium or the fine, we’re likely to see rapidly revised numbers both in enrollment as well as popularity.
Perspective:
LOL, @DLoesch has 3 times more twitter followers than #Obamacare has people signed up. http://t.co/KMzDSErVLo ht: @iowahawkblog

Ouch!
Jay Carney said this week that the administration would only be releasing official enrollment numbers monthly, which could become yearly if things keep going badly.
