President Obama escaped the Beltway by a few thousand feet today and gave a speech during which he again proclaimed health care to be a “right,” and did so multiple times:
Obama's already said "health care is a right" twice in first few minutes of his speech, proving he doesn't actually know what a "right" is

How many other “rights” involve government mandates that contain penalties for not exercising them?
a fact check on Obama's "Healthcare is a right" line he keeps repeating would be good.

Healthcare is not a right, and saying that it is a right is a downright lie.
— Charles C. W. Cooke (@charlescwcooke) September 26, 2013
There is no legal interpretation from anybody anywhere at any time that can construe healthcare as a "right." It is simply not one.

Liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar.

But it’s a “right” because he says it’s a right.
Obama has now made health care a right in America. A right to poorer quality, more expensive, delay-infested, fewer choices health care.

That’s more of a “wrong” than a “right” really.
Health care is a “right”? He keeps using that word…
