Never let it be said that we’re not responsive!
Glenn Beck started the hashtag #WeAreAllRodeoClowns as a way of speaking out for free speech in light of the massive over-reaction to a Missouri rodeo clown who wore an Obama mask:
When I say #WeAreAllRodeoClowns, it's not really about rodeo clowns…it's about FREE speech. Will you stand? http://t.co/3xIdEcmvkj SJ

And soon it was catching on:
1st they came for the Palin effigys – NOT ==>Glenn: We are all rodeo clowns – Glenn Beck http://t.co/lV2yhpsLk2 #WeAreAllRodeoClowns

#Weareallrodeoclowns Should anyone who makes fun of the US Prez be required to take sensitivity training? Where is freedom of speech?

We need to peacefully resist liberal tyranny and stand for free speech! Enough already. #WeAreAllRodeoClowns

There is some mockery on Twitter of the #WeAreAllRodeoClowns hashtag, such as this:

A #WeAreAllRodeoClowns hashtag? These people truly are too stupid to live.

But getting offended by something a rodeo clown did is the epitome of super-smart?
Conveniently forgotten during all this is the fact that rodeo clowns have mocked politicians since before Barack Obama ever became a national figure:
In 1994, there was a ‘George Bush’ rodeo clown dummy http://t.co/lRKFNbvTFo

We don’t recall any mass outrage at the time either.
