Previously, paint had been spattered on the Lincoln Memorial, a statue outside the Smithsonian Castle, the National Cathedral as well as another cathedral, and now the Martin Luther statue and a church organ at Luther Place Memorial Church in Washington, D.C. have been vandalized.

The person who did this may already be in custody. As Twitchy reported earlier, a woman has been arrested in connection with vandalism at the National Cathedral, and the description of the suspect in two of the instances of vandalism match:
