Michael Moore, multimillionaire anti-capitalist, invited his Twitter followers to check out pictures of his theater in Traverse City, Michigan. Moore’s tweet generated this response:
@mmflint How capitalist of you!

Naturally, Moore had a response at the ready to avoid charges of hypocrisy:
"RT @HankKnowsSports: @mmflint How capitalist of u!" Sorry my friend, but the theater is set up to NOT make a profit. That's why it thrives.

By removing the profit motive (tix r $6-$8, popcorn $2), & by making our mission "Just Great Movies", we've been in the black since Day 1.

We can’t help but wonder how Moore keeps prices so low and stays in the black while paying his employees living wages and providing them with full health care benefits (he wouldn’t not do that, right?).
