Drew Brees won't sign tender, plans to holdout

Not only is Drew Brees arguably the best quarterback in football, he’s the face of the Saints franchise and one of the most beloved people in New Orleans. Unfortunately, Brees had a huge problem with the team franchising him and became livid at upper management. He’s so angry that he may decide to sit out of football until the team pays up.

Jeff Duncan of the New Orleans Times-Picayune said during Thursday’s PFT Live that Brees won’t be signing the tender and won’t be present when the Saints assemble for offseason workouts next month.

If we didn’t have Peyton-palooza and bountygate, this would probably be the biggest story in all of sports right now. Maybe all Brees wants is a little attention?
