Just as the United States has January 6, the only protest by right-wingers to turn violent after a summer of left-wing riots in 2020, the United Kingdom has the Southport riots. Grok calls them "a series of violent far-right, anti-immigration protests and riots." Yes, this was the one time that white Britons rioted in response to the son of immigrants, 17-year-old Axel Rudakubana, stabbing three little girls under the age of 10 to death at a Taylor Swift-themed dance camp and injuring 10 more. The politically correct U.K. government cracked down on the protests, saying that you could be arrested just for standing and observing them.
I've written a lot about the crackdown on free speech in the United Kingdom, and we've done a number of posts showing police officers arriving at the homes of people who've posted things to social media that have caused other people "anxiety" to arrest them. You don't dare have a meme about migrants on your iPhone, or you're definitely going to be put in cuffs.
Sky News reports that a woman has been sentenced to 31 months in prison after going on an online rant against migrants on the day of the Southport attacks.

Sky News reports:
The wife of a Conservative councillor has lost an appeal against her 31-month prison sentence for an online rant about migrants on the day of the Southport attacks.
The judgment handed down by Lord Justice Holroyd at the Court of Appeal on Tuesday said there was "no arguable basis" that Lucy Connolly's original sentence was "manifestly excessive".
…
Lucy Connolly was arrested on 6 August 2024 after calling for "mass deportation now" in an X post on 29 July, which also said hotels housing asylum seekers should be set on fire.
"If that makes me racist so be it," she wrote.
…
She was sentenced to 31 months in prison at Birmingham Crown Court last October, after pleading guilty to a charge of inciting racial hatred. She was ordered to serve 40% of the sentence in prison before being released on licence.
England even got to the point where it wanted to extradite Elon Musk for inciting racial hatred after the Southport attacks.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see why she should face any punishment at all. But the British government is very protective of its unvetted newcomers, most of whom come from primarily Muslim countries and have no intention of assimilating.
I came across this on Tuesday, and I'm not sure how I feel about it:

England is being conquered.

- The mayor of Rotherham is Muslim
- The mayor of London is Muslim
- The mayor of Birmingham is a Muslim
- The mayor of Leeds is Muslim
- The mayor of Blackburn is Muslim
- The mayor of Sheffield is Muslim
- The mayor of Oxford is a Muslim
- The mayor…
… of Luton is a Muslim
- The mayor of Oldham is a Muslim
- The mayor of Rochdale is a Muslim
This is not immigration, it's an invasion.
Yeah, I pretty much agree with this guy.
Again, *you* may think this is just vibrant multiculturalism, but *they* see it as conquest and humiliation https://t.co/ShNV3yMLh9

I'm pretty uncomfortable with people who have their own set of laws, Sharia law, taking over positions of power in the United Kingdom. But that's who they're voting for. And native Britons can merely stand by and watch; they dare not say anything or the police will be knocking on their door.
Every aspect of this ceremony has been carefully designed to demoralise any British watching it. It's a show of power.

There is no such thing as multiculturalism. There are only temporary periods of apparent multiculturalism as one culture is replaced by the other. Slowly at first and then suddenly all at once.

RIP Britain.

Suicidal empathy.
I'll probably get 31 months in prison for saying it, but I liked Britain the way it was before unfettered mass migration from Muslim countries changed the demographics. You know how it's now considered hate speech by the ADL to say, "It's OK to be white." It's considered racist now to differentiate between native Britons and migrants.
And it's not just the U.K. … all of Europe is lost, except for maybe Hungary.
The Clash's first single was "White Riot," and that dates back to 1977. According to Genius.com:
On 31 August 1976 band members Joe Strummer and Paul Simonon, then living in squats nearby, joined the rioting in Notting Hill, West London, when hundreds of black youths fought with police after a long summer of simmering tensions fuelled by overtly racist policing. The events of that day inspired the group to write the song White Riot, which helped to define the group’s radical and provocative political agenda
Again, Southport is the U.K. version of January 6, and they're prosecuting "insurrectionists" in the same fashion. And you dare not post a meme about it.
