This girl's story apparently relates to Donald Trump's election in 2016, but it's just as relevant now that women are shaving their heads and getting matching tattoos to show that they were part of the resistance and so that they can identify other female Kamala Harris voters.
Yesterday, I wrote a post about two teachers who are suing the Beverly Hills School District for racism after they were made to feel unsafe by students wearing MAGA hats and chanting "f**k Kamala Harris" the day after the election. Those teachers explained that they had black students in their classrooms and feared for their safety.
I'm surprised they didn't cancel class altogether the day after the election so that students could process their grief. This girl says she was kicked out of a class as a safety threat when she told a teaching assistant during their period of mourning that she'd voted for Trump. I believe it, after all of the stories we've done on UCLA.
UCLA Student kicked out of class for voting for Donald Trump

The class was having time to “mourn the loss of our country” after Donald Trump won, she said she voted for Trump. “I got kicked out of the class. I was told to leave that class and not return for the remainder of the… pic.twitter.com/O9Y6UtYSzn
… for the remainder of the quarter because I was quote unquote, a threat to my fellow students' safety.”
“Because I voted for Donald Trump. I was a threat to their safety.”
We're old enough to remember when one of the major newspapers gave Alyssa Milano space to expand on her tweet that "The red MAGA hat is the new white hood." This was right after the Covington Catholic hoax had been revealed, and she wrote:
Still, some things in that video cannot be disputed–no matter what angle or how extended the cut is. These boys, who attend a religious school, were there on a school trip protesting against a woman’s right to reproductive freedom. Several of these boys were wearing red MAGA hats, a hat that has become synonymous with white nationalism and racism. Several were doing a “tomahawk chop.” Several were laughing.
When I saw that video, I saw boys flaunting their entitlement and displaying toxic masculinity. It seemed to me like they were reflecting the white nationalism and racism that the hats on their heads have come to represent.
It's absolutely ridiculous that any teacher or professor or company would think they needed to set aside time to mourn the results of an election. But they did. But to think someone's a safety threat because they voted for Trump is next-level TDS.
I hope they follow up on the report of those two teachers who are suing their school district for "racism" because students wore MAGA hats to celebrate the election … I'd like to know how far that gets in the courts.
