We hope everyone had a fun Halloween last night. It was great to see kids out and about in their costumes and, for the most part, without masks. Allie McCandless made note of one house on Capitol Hill that asked kids to come back next year and ask for candy, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. President Joe Biden said the pandemic was over, but then he said he was forgiving student loans because of the pandemic, so we’re not sure what’s going on.
Actually, we are. The pandemic is over. And speaking of masks:

I live right next door, they put the sign out last year. They wear masks in their yard when it’s just them. It’s embarrassing. 🤦🏻♂️

It would be interesting to see if there are “pockets” of Covidians as there are of Democrats or Republicans. Is D.C. still masked up? We know California is still under an official “state of emergency.”
