OK, we had to check the date on this tweet, because we remember that Speaker Nancy Pelosi did a guest spot on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” in 2018; we thought maybe she was just re-upping the footage for Pride Month. We weren’t paying close enough attention to the news, because Pelosi did another guest spot on the show this week. Watch as she does her famous side-clap. Also, listen to how effusive she is … we don’t recall her ever praising anyone like this.
It was an honor to make an appearance on episode 5 of @RuPaulsDragRace All Stars 7 this week. I was inspired by the contestants because they know their power. Their freedom of expression is what America is all about. #PrideMonth pic.twitter.com/d5D7wubRKp

The same people praising Pelosi were embarrassed by Trump.

"You're freedom of expression of yourselves in drag is what America is all about," said @SpeakerPelosi. Is that what America is all about? https://t.co/bmDbakfeVV

"Our constitution was built for a moral and religious people, sure. But it was mostly built for transvestites. Men lacing up in stilettos and strutting around like a cartoon caricature of a prostitute is what America is all about." —John Adams, according to Nancy Pelosi https://t.co/kroe9YKpMb

We saw creepier over on Libs of TikTok’s feed, where there was another “kid-friendly” drag show. But watching “RuPaul’s Drag Race” on TV is what has inspired some of our youngest drag queens to express themselves.
