We were wary when states started directing their COVID vaccination messaging directly to 12-year-olds, but it got worse; “Sesame Street” got in on the action (with a boost from CNN) and had Big Bird (who’s perpetually 6) talking to children about his vaccination experience.
Now California state Sen. Scott Wiener is introducing a bill to lower the age of consent to get the COVID vaccine from 18 to 12.
