As Twitchy reported, Carly Fiorina tumbled off a stage in Indiana yesterday while introducing Ted Cruz and his family. Today, the media is reporting that Donald Trump ridiculed Cruz for not racing to help her up.

At least the video clip that ABC News included in its tweet showed the incident as it played out. CNN, for whatever reason, chose instead to tweet an endlessly looping GIF of Fiornia’s fall.

@CNN This .gif is awful. Take it down and replace it with something longer than a second.

@CNN maybe show the entire clip….see second video from another angle. Cruz was not near Carly and Heidi did put her hand out. Hacks!

@CNN maybe show the full footage you hacks. That's a very selectively edited GIF…but u knew that, and used it anyway…because #Journalism

Plenty of people agreed with Trump that Cruz did nothing to help his running mate, with some found Fiorina in perpetual free fall amusing.
@CNN too funny lol

@CNN really compassionate and thoughtful. Ted is very tense and he cares about only himself.

@CNN Same at debate when Carson didn't hear his name called. Trump waited with Ben Carson while Cruz the opportunist blew by him.
