In December 2021, President Joe Biden gave a commencement speech at HBCU South Carolina State University and told them that the only difference between white entrepreneurs and black entrepreneurs is that black entrepreneurs don’t have lawyers or accountants. He also told them that he “desegregated restaurants and movie theaters” during the Civil Rights movement, teaming up with other Civil Rights activists at a black church on the east side. As a devout Catholic, Biden attended mass, but afterward, he would hone his desegregation strategy in this black church. You know it’s true because just a few days ago he said it’s “not a joke.”
