Adam Kinzinger was selling autographed copies of the January 6 committee's report on his website

This is hilarious. As you know, former Rep. Adam Kinzinger went from Congress to CNN in the blink of an eye. We’ve not seen a big deal made about it, but he had to have been in talks with CNN while he was still in Congress doing his job of preventing Donald Trump from ever holding office again. Unless someone from CNN just brought a suitcase of cash to the Capitol and made him an offer as he was carrying out his cardboard box full of stuff.

We’d forgotten that Kinzinger — along with so many Never Trumpers — started a PAC designed to put country over party. Kinzinger decided a good idea to solicit donations to his PAC would be to sell bound copies of the January 6 select committee’s final report with his signature. It seemed like a good idea until Fox News reported on it.

What a tool. Fox News reports:

Former GOP Rep. Adam Kinzinger – one of 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump on charges of “incitement of an insurrection” in 2021 – has removed a listing from his political action committee’s website for signed copies of the now defunct January 6 select committee’s final report.

The listing that appeared on the website belonging to Country First, an Illinois-based PAC established by Kinzinger in July 2021, featured the committee’s final report – signed by Kinzinger – bound in book format and available for purchase for $100.

The listing was removed shortly after a Fox News Digital report highlighted that Kinzinger’s PAC was selling copies of the report with his signature on it.

How much for a copy without his signature?

Why didn’t he think to sell DVDs of the committee’s highly selectively edited footage of January 6? Might as well use it for something.
