We don’t know if this is true, but we do know that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is popping out of his undisclosed location to deliver remarks alongside Minister of Emergency Preparedness Bill Blair. This isn’t the first we’ve heard of Trudeau and local law enforcement bringing in the military, so who knows?
BREAKING: Trudeau has updated his schedule, and will likely invoke martial law at 4:30 local time. Military officials have been consulted by Trudeau's staff. pic.twitter.com/cePykqV5km

Sounds like every truck horn in the city should sound and keep sound just then.

Masks don't work at all from an aggregate perspective.
The vaccine does zip for transmission.
What are we trying to accomplish?
— NARNfan (@NARNfan) February 14, 2022
Control. Simple. Also establishing precedence.

Trudeau can’t back down now and lose (black) face.

This could get real ugly real fast

This won’t end well for him

I fully expect the New York Times staff to issue a full-throated denouncement of declaring Martial Law and using the military against peaceful protests. https://t.co/MnlqnAz1xC

Honestly wondering how many in the PMC are asking themselves this right now? pic.twitter.com/1j6jM2oZoC

Please enlighten me as to the widespread looting, arson & assaults on LEO’s across Canada
— CTIronman (@CTIronman) February 14, 2022
No one is declaring martial law. Please take a civics class.
— Space Cadet (@spacecadet2016) February 14, 2022
Some are saying it’s not martial law, but the Emergencies Act, which according to the CDC “gives special powers to respond to emergency scenarios affecting public welfare (natural disasters, disease outbreaks), public order (civil unrest), international emergencies or war emergencies.”
Is honking civil unrest? Bouncy castles? Street hockey?
Maybe if they start looting
— Seppie (@sethchasin) February 14, 2022
State of emergencies act. Relax.
— Carebear.S (@CLSylvestre1) February 14, 2022
Which is the “War Measures Act”. They only changed the name. It’s martial law no matter which name is used.

Wow they are really making a show of this

The Left is writing the playbook for how their 2025 riots should be handled.

This would be really, really foolish

Not everyone’s on board:
BREAKING: Premiers of Alberta, Manitoba, Quebec, and Saskatchewan oppose Trudeau decision to invoke the Emergencies Act on the truckers
— Honkmaster Poso 🎺 (@JackPosobiec) February 14, 2022
Trudeau calls everyone he doesn’t like a “Nazi”. But he’s the one who is about to suspend civil liberties to crush a peaceful protest led by moms and dads across the country.

The thing is, we won’t have to wait long to find out if Trudeau’s declaring “martial law” on invoking the Emergencies Act. Either way, he’s not budging on vaccine mandates.

It’s the Emergencies Act:
