Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin signed an executive order banning schools from imposing mask mandates, although many school districts said they wouldn’t be complying. As Twitchy reported Monday, unmasked students in Loudon County were being removed from their regular classrooms and put in “alternative” classrooms where they could pursue independent study.
Now we have a video from inside one of these maskless rooms. There’s not much to see, but you can hear the students being given 15 minutes for lunch, while the masked students were reportedly given 30. This isn’t even separate but equal.
A Virginia high school has reportedly been segregating masked and unmasked students since @GlennYoungkin’s new masking order took effect.

They're punishing kids for obeying the law.
This is not about public health or safety, this is about control and power.

Discrimination suit. That’s how these places learn.

This is exactly what I was talking about this weekend. We have to get rid of masks or else it will just continue like this

Masked or not 15 minutes to eat lunch is not healthy. People need to take their time when eating and not have a clock on them to finish in an absurd little amount of time. Not healthy or safe!

I don't understand the logic. It's like they are being punished for not wearing masks. What do they do after the 15 min is up? Throw away their food and wait quietly until everyone else is done? I bet the teachers take off their masks in their lounge and eat for 30 min.

I find it encouraging that the kids are smart enough to recognize that the admin's decisions make no sense.

It was never about health or safety. This is strictly punitive. And evil.

Dems sure do love to get segregation back.

I never thought I'd be thankful that kids had cameras/phones in schools. This shit has got to STOP.

They’re both unmasked when eating lunch which is the funniest part about this

Unbelievable! Good for them for filming.

I want to shake my head and say, "unbelievable", but the sad fact is that this is all too believable.

In a message to students and their families, Woodgrove High School Principal William Shipp said any student who did not wear a mask would be taken out of class and put in the school’s auditorium for virtual learning.
“You will not be able to go out into the rest of the building if you do not have a mask on,” Shipp said.
These kids need to stage a walk out. Get it out on social media. Their civil rights are being violated.

That’s the insidious part of the mask mandate in schools. Kids are rule followers generally, and if a parent wants their kid to take a stand, there is the potential of them being ostracized simply because they’re doing something different. This all needs to end now.

Does this high school have science teachers? Could they talk some sense into the administrators? Because we don’t see science at work driving these decisions.
