In a piece posted on CNN’s website the day after CNN aired a “documentary” on the coronavirus crisis, Stephen Collinson says CNN “requested comment from the former President’s office but has so far not received a response.” Well, Donald Trump has responded, but he didn’t bother with a statement sent to CNN. Instead, he released a statement to all the press calling Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx “two self-promoters trying to reinvent history to cover for their bad instincts and faulty recommendations, which I fortunately almost always overturned.”

I haven’t shared most of the post-presidential ones, but this one is a doozy. pic.twitter.com/GyeXBTfG8D

"The Federal Government is a bad habit" cuts to the heart of the matter.

“I only kept Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx on because they worked for the U.S. government for so long — they are like a bad habit!”
So he didn’t get rid of them because they worked in government for so long? Sheesh, that should have been the reason TO let them go. They didn’t want to actually help people, they wanted to control people and loved the media spotlight.

Let's not forget that Fauci was widely derided for how he handled the HIV storm. And, yes, he definitely flip/flopped on masks from a view based on all available studies (masks not required) to a view based on the political winds (masks required).
These are political animals.

Trump should have replaced them by mid-summer last year. Trump was horrible on hiring effective advisors.

I love President Trump. He just lays it all out there and let the cards fall where they may. There has never been a POTUS in U.S. history who was so frank and transparent — cut to the chase, Mr. President — "We The People" can handle the tough talk.

So refreshing to see him toss them both under a bus.

And now they’re calling the vaccine the “Fauci ouchie.”

If you liked that and still can’t get enough of Donald Trump, his and Melania’s official website is up and running:
