First and foremost, if Twitter didn’t at least temporarily suspend Keith Olbermann for his tweet (and we haven’t seen any signs that they did) on the grounds of targeted harassment, then the words have no meaning. As Twitchy reported, Olbermann decided to tell his one million followers to make the rest of a hunter’s life “a living hell” and urge the “nitwit clown” who wrote the piece to be fired.

First off, no one’s getting fired.

Well said. And here’s Olbermann’s unreserved apology that we’re sure ESPN didn’t force him to post:

But he just said it wasn’t his intention to make anyone feel threatened.

We’re sure that white turkey was going to die peacefully of old age out in the woods, all camouflaged like that.

It’s not like he tweeted the words “Learn to code.”
