The last time we’d checked, at the end of September Texas Senate candidate Beto O’Rourke had raised about $62 million in campaign cash and was burning through a million dollars a day in October:

Even though he’s sitting on millions in campaign donations, O’Rourke knows he can beat Sen. Ted Cruz if everyone would just chip in a little bit more.

Well, his campaign managed to find one poll that shows him even having a chance of winning — if he just had a little more campaign cash.

Some Democratic strategists wondered if O’Rourke’s campaign might slip some of that money to some tight races in states where the Democrat actually had a chance, but no dice.

Could it just be that O’Rourke would like to keep some cash in reserve for when he loses the Senate race and turns his attention toward the White House in 2020?
