As Twitchy reported, the New York Times published an op-ed on the problem with (conservative) white women, like those who supported Justice Brett Kavanaugh or maybe even voted for Trump — you see, white women “benefit from patriarchy by trading on their whiteness to monopolize resources for mutual gain.”

The New York Times isn’t even the first to target white women — on her perpetual “What Happened” tour, Hillary Clinton blamed her loss on white women who didn’t vote for her, because their husbands, male bosses, and sons told them to vote for Trump, so they did.

This weekend, the Guardian’s Lucia Graves offered up a take very similar to the one published in the New York Times, struggling to explain white women and why they think and vote the way they do.

See? It’s their husbands that are the problem. Hillary was right.

So … marriage is bad? Women lose the ability to think for themselves once they’re married and just do as their husbands tell them? The Guardian really ought to have put this on the front page, ’cause it’ll be big news to a lot of married men.
