As Twitchy reported, Yahoo News posted a very deceptive tweet Wednesday that took words from James Carville’s mouth and put them in Sen. Lindsey Graham’s, claiming that Graham said, “This is what you get when you go through a trailer park with a $100 bill.”
Yes, Graham did say those words, but he was quoting Carville to compare the treatment of the women who accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct to the treatment afforded Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.
Yahoo heard about it and eventually took the tweet down.
We deleted a tweet that did not accurately reflect the context of Lindsey Graham’s quote in the below video clip. pic.twitter.com/U5ihRhiP27

Yeah, too bad everyone and his uncle has already retweeted the original all over the Internet.
As Twitchy also reported, people were wondering how long it would take the Washington Post’s “conservative blogger” Jennifer Rubin to weigh in:
Waiting on Jen Rubin to misquote Lindsay Graham & leave it up on twitter indefinitely.
— Kris Kinder (@kris_kinder) October 3, 2018
Rubin came through, in response to a tweet from CNN’s Jake Tapper in which he literally explained that Graham was “paraphrasing a loathsome comment made by James Carville about Paula Jones.” That didn’t seem to resonate with Rubin, though. And yes, her tweet is still up, just as predicted.
For those confused, he is calling an assault victim a prostitute. SC voters should throw him out in 2020.

Wonder how long that’ll stay up? At least Yahoo News bothered to delete the misleading tweet and issue a correction.
"we deleted the tweet but we produce the video in the hope that people will not understand the context and think Graham said it anyway".

No, really? You know, you guys have your own freaking search engine and STILL manage to screw this up. Congrats.
— Physics Geek (@physicsgeek) October 3, 2018
Any chance you guys might know who he was quoting?

You always make "mistakes" that smear Republicans.
What are the odds of that?
— ™ (@corrcomm) October 3, 2018
Important thing is you got out the lie. This has as many retweets, right?
— Anthony Bialy (@AnthonyBialy) October 3, 2018
Could you go ahead and expand on this and tell everyone that the $100 bill comment was in reference to Clinton’s accusers and was born in the “Bimbo Eruption” war room that was headed by @GStephanopoulos ?

— J.G. Petruna (@jgpetruna) October 3, 2018
Even this video is lacking in context, you frauds. It cuts off in the middle of Graham saying, "You don't remember Kath.." He was about to (presumably) explain what happened to Kathleen Willey.

When your staff are so biased, they will miss the truth and context even when it is spoon fed to them, as this short clip shows.

This is what happens when the people running the "news" aren't old enough to have an intelligent opinion about a subject.

A little historic perspective goes a LONG way! Perhaps you should add an adult or two to your staff!

Tell your intern to Google "James Carville"
— Cameron Gray (@Cameron_Gray) October 3, 2018
Did you fire whoever allowed it to get on Twitter to begin with without vetting it? My guess would be no because there's no consequences for doing this…& the mission of the MSM of getting this kind of BS out in front of imbeciles who don't put anything in context was successful
— Tim M. (@TimMaassen) October 3, 2018
You should have quoted the incorrect Tweet and issued your apology to Senator Graham. You’ll have to try harder to not misquote by maybe watching the video for context. Knowing history helps too.

‘GUYS SHE DID IT!!’ Jennifer Rubin actually ran with this garbage take on Lindsey Graham https://t.co/nAupDI94Dg
