What can you say about London Mayor Sadiq Khan? After the city was plagued by a rash of stabbing attacks, including a terrorist attack last June, the mayor demanded that YouTube and Google crack down on violent videos.
And when London overtook New York in murders for the first time in modern history, the mayor called for a ban on junk food advertisements on London buses and trains. After that, he called on Londoners to redress the gender imbalance among Wikipedia editors, whom he complained are almost entirely men.
So following a terrorist attack earlier this week in which Salih Khater crashed his car into the protective barrier outside of the Houses of Parliament, injuring several pedestrians and cyclists, the mayor is considering a ban on cars around the area.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan said Wednesday he wants to ban cars from certain areas of Parliament Square in response to a suspected terror attack on Tuesday https://t.co/W7KrSE8V4B

He might also want to ban cars from London Bridge and Westminster Bridge, where citizens have also been mowed down by terrorists.

First it was guns, then knives, now cars in certain areas……
Starting to see a pattern of blaming the tool rather than the person.

Ban guns, knives & cars, what’s next?

Banning hasn't worked. Banning will not work. Liberals need to stop with the stupid on this.

First, it was guns, then knives. That didn't work so they banned free speech. Now cars!?
Keep guessing, khan

CAR CONTROL. That's the solution we've been waiting for!

So this is an actual thing that's being considered?? What a time to be alive.

Let's see, Guns, Knives, and now cars – what's next?

What about straws?
— Komrade Pinkachu? (@bob_hoke) August 16, 2018
Boy, nobody better drown in London or they'll ban water.

This is getting so old

"Suspected" terrorist attack. Sure.
— Allen (@raiderkramer88) August 16, 2018
Those damn cars going around running people down and killing them! Cars! Yes, they’re the problem.
— navybrat (@navybratdawn) August 16, 2018
Banning is the liberal solution to everything instead of dealing with the real problem. Punish everyone EXCEPT those who are causing the problems.
