As Twitchy reported, the media was more concerned with the jacket Melania Trump wore to board an airplane than they were about her visit to a social services center in McAllen, Texas for children apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border. It was a $39 number from ZARA that read, “I really don’t care, do u?” on the back — curious optics for a trip to the border.

No less than President Trump weighed in on #Jacketgate soon after and posited that FLOTUS was trolling “the fake news media.”

It does kind of make sense, after the media went nuts when the first lady wore stiletto heels to board a helicopter on her way to survey hurricane damage in Houston (and yes, she changed shoes on the plane). Hey, people have actually commented on Barron Trump’s T-shirts too.

Trust us; there will be plenty of press mentions to follow.

Whoa … is she saying that President Trump likes to fan the media flames? That’s not like him — having just returned from a rally in Duluth where the crowd chanted, “CNN sucks!”

Yeah, that’s kind of what he does.
