CNBC reported Monday afternoon that Starbucks executive chairman Howard Schultz will be stepping down June 26 and is considering a “range of options.”

Whenever someone steps down from a position of power to spend more time with their family, that’s a sign they’re in trouble. When someone steps down from a position like this only to say he’s considering a “range of options,” well …

At least he’s left a legacy at Starbucks — as the guy who said everyone’s a customer whether they make a purchase or just shoot up in the restroom.

OK, we won’t.

That was terrible.

Better.

Polling shows that Democrat voters are still clinging bitterly to either Joe Biden or Bernie Sanders for president, so why shouldn’t another rich white guy give it a shot?
