Funny, isn’t everyone always begging President Trump to put down the phone and stop tweeting? MSNBC producer Kyle Griffin went back through Trump’s timeline Sunday and made note that the president hasn’t sent one tweet about that false alarm about a ballistic missile headed for Hawaii.
Trump has sent 7 tweets and retweeted 4 tweets since the Hawaii false alarm. None have been about the Hawaii false alarm.

Of course, Trump had nothing to do with the false alarm, unless of course, you ask someone like Jamie Lee Curtis, who alleged that the false alarm was “on him” — “YOU DID THIS!” she tweeted in disgust.
So … what was Trump supposed to have tweeted? Most likely he’d call on the person responsible to be fired, but we already know that’s not going to happen.
Are you trying to make a point? If so, what is it? https://t.co/9DAEjjYxQf

Trump has sent 29 tweets and retweeted 15 tweets since I filled my gas tank. None have been about my gas tank.
Wait…what is the point of this game? It seems stupid. https://t.co/dsVXyt9GfA

I think if he did tweet about it, everyone would complain about that tweet. Better to complain about a lack of a tweet. https://t.co/MisZmRKCxe

Media: Trump's tweets are irresponsible and dangerous! He needs to stop.
Also Media: Why doesn't Trump tweet about [insert issue]? https://t.co/j67LKnwMGa

Liberals: "Trump's tweeting is endangering Americans, he needs to stop!"
*Hawaii false alarm occurs, which has NOTHING to do with the Trump administration, and is entirely the fault of local officials*
Liberals: "Trump's failure to tweet is endangering Americans!" https://t.co/TyYl5q8JMV

Nobody died right? It was a state error right? I don’t know maybe he’ll get to it but this genre of “Trump isn’t reacting the way I specifically want” is very unbecoming from the media. https://t.co/z3UtZKx20s

Why should he? It has nothing to do with him https://t.co/2e7Saqb1LN
— The Good Dissident (@GoodDissident) January 14, 2018
He has nothing to do with it. It's a Hawaiian office's failure, and Hawaii's problem to fix. https://t.co/85ZYEUj36d
— Phineas Fahrquar (@irishspy) January 15, 2018
Why should he? So you can jump on him and criticize him for something that had nothing to do with him? https://t.co/kLQHM0rfOJ
— Conservative Annie (@ConservativeAn4) January 14, 2018
Why should he?
This is so dumb.
People on the left jumped at the opportunity to criticize Trump for something he had literally no control over or responsibility for.
So now they're mad he didn't acknowledge their foolish accusations https://t.co/Oyyyc0hdWf

I'm confused about why anyone would want the president to weigh in on this matter, which is unrelated to his administration and on which he's unlikely to say anything useful. https://t.co/kwxIASnkJF
— Josh Barro (@jbarro) January 14, 2018
A circumstance unrelated to the White House and you’re upset Trump isn’t tweeting? I thought you want him off Twitter?? He may not be the best president or the person you want in office, but the double-standard he is held to is unreal. https://t.co/MnXDuYCTpn
— Jack Hollinshead (@jhollinshead10) January 14, 2018
It was a false alarm and the mistake happened at the state level. The only person who really needs to address the mistake is the governor. https://t.co/CgV4dfZtGB
— Based Monitored ?? (@BasedMonitored) January 14, 2018
What would you like him to tweet? How the Hawaiian govt failed and the governor is an idiot? Would that make it better for you? https://t.co/JxvqhGh7zf
— Joe (@JoeC1776) January 14, 2018
Not every idiocy is worth commenting on. https://t.co/JHKZI3MarM
— Saul Montes-Bradley (@Debradelai) January 14, 2018
It’s gotten to the point where they are begging Trump to comment on things so they can fuel 24-hour news cycles ripping on things he says.
Remember when there were other things in the news that didn’t involve the president? https://t.co/bafGd6C4qP

Unbelievably ironic tweet from an MSNBC producer. A network that has spent countless hours covering a fake “collusion” scandal while minimizing the dramatic Trump economic boom. #LiberalLogic #Toolbox https://t.co/H0fF75Zqdb

Trump has sent 7 tweets and retweeted 4 tweets since the Hawaii false alarm.
During that same time, Kyle has been counting Trump's tweets. https://t.co/vu13dFTnJG
