You might remember Harvey Weinstein’s bizarre statement issued after the New York Times published its expose on his numerous sexual harassment settlements; you know, the one in which he said he was going to channel his anger and give the NRA his “full attention.”

Stephen Gutowski of the Washington Free Beacon decided to check around to see how Weinstein’s crusade against the NRA was going.

Gutowski reports that the Brady Campaign and Center to Prevent Gun Violence hasn’t heard from Weinstein, and better yet, Everytown for Gun Safety said it wouldn’t accept a donation if it were offered.

Katie Pavlich has an idea why Weinstein might have pivoted from sexual harasser to anti-gun crusader so quickly:

Maybe Weinstein just had to complete his week of sex addiction therapy first before he could fully concentrate on his gun control campaign.

Exactly. Instead, he was cut loose from the Weinstein Company and the Motion Picture Academy.
