Hopefully this will be one of those stories that is forgotten by lunchtime tomorrow, but authorities aren’t taking chances with a specific threat to the Los Angles transit system and will be increasing security just in case.

The LAPD, the FBI, and others held a joint news conference Monday evening to let the public know what was going on. LAPD Chief Charlie Beck told reporters the threat was “very specific,” targeting the Universal City station on Tuesday.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said he is planning to board a train at the station tomorrow morning and urged citizens to go about their lives as normal.
