Staffers returned to Arizona Republican Headquarters Monday afternoon after police investigated reports of a threat left on the office’s voicemail. The report follows news that the Orange County Republican Headquarters in Hillsborough, N.C., was firebombed overnight and a threat spray-painted on an adjacent building.
Robert Graham is the party’s state chairman.

@RobertSGraham @AZGOP @NCGOP Terrible. Glad everyone is alright.

In light of Graham’s allegation that Democrats were behind the reported threat, not everyone was quite as sympathetic. A phoned-in threat is ugly, but so is a political environment so toxic that neither side trusts the other.
@RobertSGraham @AZGOP I'm looking all over for information that shows Dems are behind it. Can't find it. #TrumpTactics #LiesNotFacts

@RobertSGraham @AZGOP @NCGOP That's a pretty inflammatory accusation. Based on ???

No one ever seems to point the finger at the Libertarians. For his part, Donald Trump didn’t hesitate to blame the burning of GOP HQ in North Carolina on “animals representing Hillary Clinton and Dems.”
@RobertSGraham You're an embarrassment making statements like that. Shame on you.
