In case you’d forgotten, President Obama is sitting down with CNN’s Jake Tapper Wednesday night for a town hall discussion devoted strictly to military issues.
CNN announced the special a week ago to a resounding social media response ranging from “Why?” to “Why now?” along with quite a few, “Who gives a ****?”
The stage for the prime time special is set at Fort Lee, Va., home of the Combined Arms Support Command, and CNN recently issued a tweet letting viewers know what to expect.

Rather than hear CNN’s summary of what to expect at the #ObamaTownHall, let’s hear from the people and what they’re expecting.

.@jaketapper An hour- long campaign rally for Hillary/Dems, paid for by CNN and another attempt by corrupt CNN to influence election

@jaketapper Why is O having a town hall he's not running for anything. Doesn't have more important things to do than campaign for Hillary?
— Jeff Weber (@IllPhillyPhan) September 28, 2016
@jaketapper What the fuck is Obama doing town halls for…IS HE RUNNING FOR A 3RD TERM ?
— RUSH (@RUSH_4Real) September 28, 2016
He does have a legacy to protect.
@jaketapper Well let's see I screwed up Iraq, Libya, and Syria, depleted our military yet protect other countries. Failed healthcare too.

Looks like we’ll just have to wait until tonight to tune in and see for ourselves. Who’s with us?
— HLN FAN (@HLNviewer) September 28, 2016
@jaketapper I would rather listen to a donkey bray at midnight in a tin barn
