As Wednesday afternoon winds down into evening, social media is still buzzing about the staff shakeup in Donald Trump’s campaign, which the Wall Street Journal broke before the sun had even risen on the East Coast.
Michael Cohen, special counsel to Trump, drew the short straw and ended up on CNN Wednesday to discuss the campaign’s new hires and clarify that it’s not a sign that the campaign’s in trouble. It did not go well — although Cohen scored plenty of viewers who missed the original broadcast when a particularly awkward clip went viral.

In case the video doesn’t play, here’s a summary. Just imagine a really long, painful silence in there somewhere.

From now I’m just responding “Says who?” to anyone who questions my opinions.

I would totally watch a show (for at least 15 mins) with that guy yelling "Says who?" to any question. Seriously https://t.co/ZPct3bM2YK

Trump chose this clown as his attorney and close adviser. I submit that's pretty much all you need to know. https://t.co/O1iSs07ujQ

Day after the election:
CNN: How is the Trump team dealing with the huge loss?
MC: Who said we lost?
CNN: The votes…
MC: What votes?
