Remember how amused John Kerry was when that crazy Mitt Romney started spouting nonsense about keeping an eye on Russia and China? Secretary of State Kerry is currently in Beijing attending the U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue, where he repeated that the United States is looking to resolve disputes in the South China Sea peacefully, “through rule of law, through diplomacy, through negotiation.”
In the meantime, Chinese fighter pilots continued their unprofessional and unsafe buzzing of U.S. targets, even after Defense Secretary Ash Carter told them, “Hey, knock it off.”
.@NSC44 confirms Chinese fighter jet buzzed US recon plane in intl airspace over East China Sea. On same day as @johnkerry in China.

That’s just how the Chinese government welcomes its most honored and respected guests.
@markknoller @billpostmus @NSC44 @JohnKerry no worries! They'll hashtag em or something …

@markknoller @NSC44 @JohnKerry who's writing the "strongly worded" letter?
— Bilford Wrimley (@Bilford_Wrimley) June 7, 2016
@Bilford_Wrimley @markknoller @NSC44 @JohnKerry Clinton sent an e-mail.

.@markknoller @NSC44 So when's @JohnKerry blaming @realDonaldTrump for what the Chinese fighter jets did?
— luvLEE (@iBorn11) June 7, 2016
Isn’t it Russia’s turn to buzz us now? If our count is correct, Russia hasn’t buzzed our military since April, while China hogged May for itself.
However the geopolitical situation in the South China Sea plays out, at least there’s an informal commitment to keep the water clean.
