At CNN’s #DemTownHall Wednesday night, Bernie Sanders was treated to some personal questions to wrap things up, such as what kind of car he drives and whether he chops his own firewood. We would have loved to have heard Anderson Cooper ask Hillary Clinton what kind of car she drives and if she wipes her own hard drives, but instead he asked about her relationship with her grandchild, who is the crème de le résistance of her life, as they say in Austrian.
Hilary Clinton just said her grandchild is the creme de resistance. Is that a combo of creme de le creme and piece de resistance? #AC360

Did she say "crème de resistance"? So she doesn't speak French. #DemTownHall

Hillary just created hybrid of creme de la creme and piece de resistance

Bizarre. Hillary a dit que sa petite fille était une "creme de resistance" curieux mélange entre crème de la crème et plat de résistance.

What he said.
"Creme de resistance" is halfway between a latte macchiato and a flat white

The Creme de Resistance was DeGaulle's favorite baked good. #DemTownHall
