CNN is reporting today on the results of a poll conducted by the American Council of Trustees and Alumni last August, which suggest that college graduates are “alarmingly ignorant of America’s history and heritage.”
10% of college graduates think @JudgeJudy is on the Supreme Court https://t.co/0veYceOk2T pic.twitter.com/BcEsjpIFgj

@CNN @fadedtimes @JudgeJudy well that's just terrifying.

@CNN @AceofSpadesHQ @JudgeJudy If this stat is true we are in very deep and extremelyserious trouble. #IgnoranceKills
— John Keister (@TrueSoulution) January 19, 2016
@CNN @JudgeJudy these are the same college students that think wikipedia is a reliable source.

What happens when we turn college into an extension of high school and stuff them with "trigger warnings:" https://t.co/FeJ0wsj68m

For what it’s worth, “Judge Judy” wasn’t an option listed on the poll; rather, she was listed by her full name of Judy Sheindlin.

I suspect around 10% of college graduates think trolling media polls is a laugh. @CNN
— Meowski Catovitch (@catovitch) January 19, 2016
@CNN @AndrewStilesUSA @JudgeJudy one day poll workers will learn to tell when they're being trolled
— Jason Hornbuckle (@JasonHornbuckle) January 19, 2016
That’s a possibility as well.
@CNN @JudgeJudy could have read "90% know that Judge Judy is not on the US Supreme Court" but that wouldn't be delicious.
— Mark Sawyer (@CarlSpakler2) January 19, 2016
@CNN @ddevries03 To be fair, 1000 students does not make for an accurate survey.
— Drew Driesen (@DR73SEN) January 19, 2016
Quite a few were inspired by the survey to ask why Judge Judy isn’t on the Supreme Court.
@CNN @JudgeJudy but why is she NOT on the Supreme Court!?
— Jordan Cales (@JordanCales) January 19, 2016
@CNN @miyasaintlouis @JudgeJudy she should be on the suprene court
— Tomek Wasilewski (@Tomazazz) January 19, 2016
@Tomazazz @CNN @JudgeJudy i agree 100% shes the baddest bitch in the biz
— m i y a (@miyasaintlouis) January 19, 2016
@CNN @AceofSpadesHQ @JudgeJudy I would be 100% okay with that.
— Michelle Most (@GoldenSnowflake) January 19, 2016
@CNN @AceofSpadesHQ @JudgeJudy She would be better than Ginsberg
— Glenn Amurgis (@gamurgis) January 19, 2016
Of course, the poll consisted of more than one question, and the results were disturbing.
Also: More than 30% of ppl aren't sure or affirmatively think the Constitution has to be reauthorized every 4 yrs. pic.twitter.com/tVAuuY4ovr
— Chris Geidner (@chrisgeidner) January 19, 2016
CNN further reports that the poll found that “almost 60% of college graduates couldn’t correctly identify a requirement for ratifying a constitutional amendment and 40% of college graduates didn’t know that Congress has the power to declare war.”
