We’re not suggesting it’s a rhetorical question; it just seems a bit odd that Fusion itself, which aired tonight’s Iowa Black and Brown Forum featuring the three Democratic candidates for president, would so soon after the event ask if one of the participants blew a question. As Twitchy pointed out, however, eagle-eyed journalists quickly observed that Hillary Clinton managed to totally evade answering precisely how she personally had benefitted from white privilege. “Where do I start?” wasn’t much of an answer.
Did Hillary Clinton blow the white privilege question at the #DemForum? https://t.co/FiK9YLkQJN pic.twitter.com/A3H2zMeOyC

@ThisIsFusion All I could think of was… "Great question. WTF is that answer?!" So, yes she did.

Did her husband, the first black president, coach her on these questions?
@ThisIsFusion Rather than discuss systemic racism – which is at the core of white privilege – she tried to convince us she was abuelita

@ThisIsFusion #YES. Hillary Clinton is the epitome of #whiteprivilege. We need to rally around the revolutionary message of @BernieSanders

@ThisIsFusion her answer was stale. Missed opportunity. But i appreciate she tried to answer honestly.

@ThisIsFusion Yes she did it seemed like a soft pitch and she swung and missed

@ThisIsFusion #YES. She said she was "swimming in the ocean" of white privilege and that it's hard to recognize what is going on around you.
— Mitch Mallary (@mitchmallary) January 12, 2016
@ThisIsFusion She struggled but not as much as she would have had she been asked about the "political privilege" she's uniquely enjoyed.
