We haven’t yet seen Sunday’s print edition of the New York Times, but the website is almost fully devoted to the climate change agreement reached in Paris. The headline has changed a bit since this screenshot was taken, but the idea is the same: “For Mr. Obama, the agreement represents a legacy-shaping success, destined to join his health care law in the annals of his most lasting achievements.”

Obama had credited American leadership with sealing the deal, but the New York Times isn’t shy about honoring the man at the top.
This is huge: Almost every country in the world just signed on to the #ParisAgreement on climate change—thanks to American leadership.

So, as he enters his final year in office, President Obama has become a world leader, and not the “from behind” type?

@nytimes A leader from behind, at best. Virtually irrelevant and only growing more so.

@nytimes This deal is a fraud. Obamacare was passed to reduce helathcare costs. Fraud. Nuclear deal with Iran. Fraud. Obama presidency Fraud

@nytimes – excellent. Now he and Al Gore can pat each other on the back and congratulate each other for saving the planet – not.

@nytimes ROTFL!!! You guys are really isolated, aren't you? If there's something that Potus has proven again & again is that he is no leader

@nytimes World Leader, leaving a billion behind without enough energy left to cook or light the night. Stand up and take a bow!
— Dr. Mark E. Lehr (@mlehrjava) December 13, 2015
@nytimes Obama is hardly a leader. He's more like a towel boy for a contained JV team. Can't wait for his next failed comment about ISIS. ?

Well, the climate talks themselves were a “powerful rebuke” to terrorists around the globe. Maybe we’ll hear that one again.
