In the grand American tradition of proposing a terrible solution to a problem after it’s too late to help, Democrats are determined to tie the Second Amendment right to purchase a firearm to the government’s mysterious “No-Fly list.” In his Dec. 5 weekly address, President Obama himself literally called it “insane” to let those on the No-Fly list purchase firearms:
… right now, people on the No-Fly list can walk into a store and buy a gun. That is insane. If you’re too dangerous to board a plane, you’re too dangerous, by definition, to buy a gun. And so I’m calling on Congress to close this loophole, now. We may not be able to prevent every tragedy, but—at a bare minimum—we shouldn’t be making it so easy for potential terrorists or criminals to get their hands on a gun that they could use against Americans.
Potential criminals? That leap in logic is good enough for the Democrat Party.

@TheDemocrats From the idiots who don't understand a 'watch list' does NOT mean they can't board an airplane in the U.S.

@TheDemocrats Apparently you don't find suspension of due procress controversial? Good to know.

@TheDemocrats Gets mad over a hypothetical Muslim list that Trump may create but has no shame in removing Due Process for all Americans.
— Kaitain (@Kaitian1) December 11, 2015
@TheDemocrats If you are on a no-fly list, should you be able to vote? Practice freedom of speech and religion? Drive a car? Please advise.

@TheDemocrats It's not like the 5th Amendment is eve that far down the list. Please tell me you didn't stop at 1st and give up.

@TheDemocrats I'm old enough to remember when Democrats opposed GWB's policies. Now you might as well make him your POTUS nominee.

@TheDemocrats Denial of due process rights should be controversial, yes.

— Poor Tom O'Bedlam (@mjhorning66) December 12, 2015
@TheDemocrats So your response to terrorists is to strip US Citizens of Constitutional rights? Really?
— AgentofGaytriarchy (@PoliticalCynic) December 11, 2015
@TheDemocrats Wait, not being allowed due process shouldn't be controversial? And democrats keep whining about being called tyrannical.
— Blake Pine (@LetsBanEvrythng) December 11, 2015
@TheDemocrats the issue is that it has little oversight and no appeal process. Names are placed on it and mistaken identities occur.
— Andrew Saturn (@andsat) December 11, 2015
@TheDemocrats Well 1) this ignores due process and 2) owning a gun is a right, flying on a plane is not.
— Mitch (@mitdont) December 11, 2015
@TheDemocrats If you can't understand and defend the 5th Amendment, you shouldn't be allowed to use the 1st. See how that works? Idiots.
— Gary Nash (@daganash) December 11, 2015
@TheDemocrats Please officially say you support putting Americans on secret lists for secret reasons without telling them. Own it.
— DTH (@DavidTHogan) December 11, 2015

@TheDemocrats how many Americans are on the "No-Fly" watch list and do they all know that they are on it?
— Ted James (@ThisManJokesBad) December 11, 2015
