According to KTVU, a public defender is asking that two deputies be charged after being caught on video beating a suspect with batons following a lengthy high speed chase.
Police say that 28-year-old Stanislav Petrov sped off after deputies recognized the car he was driving as stolen. In an attempt to escape, Petrov allegedly rammed two patrol cars, injuring one deputy, before leading the deputies on a 100 mph chase that ended when Petrov hit a parked car, at which point he took off on foot. Upon searching the stolen car, the deputies found a loaded gun and drugs for sale.
Alameda County Public Defender Brendon Woods alleges that the deputies “viciously attacked a man who appeared to be surrendering. They beat him with their batons even though he was not resisting. This is clearly excessive force.”
Actor Alec Baldwin, no stranger to the use of force when it comes to the paparazzi, was disgusted by the videotape.
You watch those psychopaths from Alameda County PD beat this guy Petrov, makes you sick to live in this fucking country

How many more beatings do we have to watch on videotape before we realize we have a crisis in police training in this country?

These cops like in Alameda use excessive force because they are scared and disposed to violence. So why the fuck are they police officers?

I hope these Alameda cops have a federal lawsuit shoved so far up their fat white asses they can't see straight.
