Nothing against Lincoln Chafee personally, but his chances of winning the Democrat nomination for president were steady at zero percent (that’s metric, right?) ever since he announced. Hillary Clinton likely has the nomination sewn up, no matter how many people #FeelTheBern, and the former Rhode Island governor never did figure out how to make voters #FeelTheChafe.
I look forward to speaking at DNC Women's Forum tomorrow morning. I'll address my future in the campaign there. #chafee2016

So when Chafee tweeted that he’d be addressing the future of his campaign on Friday, most figured it could mean only one thing.
.@LincolnChafee are you suspending #chafee2016?

@LincolnChafee that debate performance was the worst I have seen in 40 years of watching them.

@LincolnChafee No offense, you seem like a really nice guy.
