Sorry, but we’re going to have to look this one up. Wikipedia lists Amber Rose as an “American hip hop model, hip hop artist, fashion designer and actress,” and she apparently has 7.9 million followers on Instagram and 3.1 million followers on Twitter. Her SlutWalk today in downtown Los Angeles was hosted by the Amber Rose Foundation, a non-profit organization Rose started to support her core mission of “uplifting, empowering, and enhancing the platform of women across the globe.”

I'm putting my blood, sweat & tears into this Slut Walk for all of us women! & Guess what I don't make 1 red cent. Nada. Not a fucking penny

A GoFundMe campaign for the SlutWalk did pull in a respectable $55,000 dollars.

OK, we admit we had to look this one up too. According to hotnewhiphop.com:
The sign is a response to the comments Kanye West made about Amber, his ex-girlfriend, earlier this year on The Breakfast Club, when he said, “I had to take 30 showers before I got with Kim,” in response to Amber’s allegations that Kim sent Kanye naked pictures while they were still together.
We tend to think of West as one of the more progressive figures in the industry, so it’s surprising to look back on his degrading comments. Props to Amber, and her mother, for taking ownership of the now infamous insult.
Ouch. That quote’s going to haunt West during his 2020 presidential campaign.

All of these people hating on #SLUTWALK & saying that those women are trashy are showing exactly why we need it in the first place

All the tweets trashing the women who attended #SlutWalk sicken me. All I see is "I can't control these women and it makes me upset/afraid."
