The Club for Growth last week began airing 30-second spots in Iowa that paint presidential candidate Donald Trump as just another politician pushing liberal policies while claiming to be an economic conservative.
The attack ads, which he has described as “replete with outright lies, false, defamatory and destructive statements and downright fabrications,” inspired Trump to send a cease-and-desist letter to the Club for Growth demanding that the ad be pulled.
