Hillary for America press secretary Brian Fallon must have believed a snarky one-tweet shot at Fox News’ Ed Henry and his memory would be enough of a bandage to cover up the disaster of Hillary Clinton’s “like with a cloth or something?” press conference.
As it turns out, that didn’t do it. Fallon clarified during a conference call with skeptical reporters that Clinton was simply the “passive recipient of unwitting information that subsequently became classified,” backtracking to an earlier defense which had already crumbled.
Today, Fallon tried again, laying out in a series of 32 tweets the entire timeline of his boss’s use of email as secretary of state. The good news? We’re not going to embed them all here … especially when the trail clearing Secretary of State Clinton leads all the way back to 1995.
By all means, keep digging.
