As Twitchy reported earlier this week, Thursday’s House Oversight Committee hearing on the IRS and Lois Lerner’s missing emails led Rep. Jason Chaffetz to proclaim that the committee was dealing with “destruction of evidence that goes to a whole other level.” Speaking of destruction of evidence, committee members learned that Lerner’s hard drive was destroyed by “an impact of some sort.”

Today, CNN’s Jake Tapper is giving followers another chance to review Chris Frates’ write-up of the hearing, which notes that the IRS watchdog looking into the vanishing correspondence concludes that there could be as many as 24,000 missing emails.
