As Twitchy reported earlier, union supporters of the six Baltimore police officers charged in connection with the death of Freddie Gray set up their own “Blue Lives Matter” fundraising site after GoFundMe pulled down their page after just 40 minutes. Now, simply adapting the #BlackLivesMatter hashtag a few months back was enough to inspire a call to “F*** every single bit of this #BlueLivesMatter hashtag,” so it’s no surprise that “The Baltimore 6” isn’t catching on with a portion of the public.

In the meantime, Talib Kweli is attempting to have the police union’s PayPal link disabled on the same grounds that the GoFundMe page was taken down.

Is #BlueLivesMatter is off-limits, how about #HisLifeMatters?
