A full slate of Republican presidential hopefuls gathered in New Hampshire this week to introduce themselves to voters through brief speeches at the “first in the nation” Republican Leadership Summit. Most participants didn’t hesitate to take swipes at both President Obama and Hillary Clinton, while Gov. Mike Huckabee urged his colleagues to present a united front of leadership.
But it was Sen. Ted Cruz, speaking last, who warned that the next 20 months of the campaign season are going to resemble “The Lord of the Flies.”
