As Twitchy reported earlier, a Wisconsin Senate Labor Committee hearing on proposed right-to-work legislation reportedly drew thousands to the state capitol building, with some rallying on the front steps and others packing the capitol rotunda. Up to nine hours were set aside for testimony, but by late this evening, the committee chairman moved to dismiss the hearing based on what he called a “credible threat.”
OK, everybody out.
By this hour both legislators and civilians had lost patience.
Stay tuned for more fireworks as the approved right to work bill moves to the full state senate tomorrow.
