American mainstream journalism took that final dark tunnel into utter irrelevancy Saturday night as two “real journalists” from the Washington Post parlayed their opportunity to interview Gov. Scott Walker about matters of substance into a question about President Obama’s Christian faith. (Ensuring the interview was a total waste, they also asked Walker to again weigh in on Rudy Giuliani’s doubts that Obama loves America.)
Fortunately, the mainstream newspapers now have competition in the form of Twitter. Soon after the transparent attempt to set up Walker against beloved Dear Leader, Twitter journalists began posting video of 2008 candidate Hillary Clinton being asked about rumors that Obama was a Muslim.
