Here’s a good one for you. David Axelrod, who just this week said he was “proud” that there hasn’t been a single major scandal in the first six years of the Obama administration, on Friday tweeted his praise of former State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki and her extraordinary talent. Psaki is returning to her post as White House communications director, and Axelrod considers Obama lucky to have her back.
There’s a chance Axelrod is being sincere. After all, a president whose “lead from behind” foreign policy has made Jimmy Carter look resolute really doesn’t need someone of Psaki’s expertise trying to explain it to the White House press corps.
The pretend one that’s scandal-free?
